SALEM, Ore. — The Lewis & Clark Pioneers lost a conference game against the Willamette Bearcats after scoring a goal within the first ten minutes of the game. The Willamette Bearcats had 20 shots throughout the game that were shut down by the Pioneers' defense. The Pioneers dropped the game with an ending score of 1-4.
The Pioneers' offense came out strong the first half with a goal by Kennie Beighle which gave the Pios the lead. As the game went on the Pioneers' offense struggle to make successful attacks against the Bearcats. The Pioneers' defense continued to stay strong with only allowing four goals out of the 20 shots taken.

Within the first ten minutes of the Pioneers' offense were making attacks against the Bearcats with a shot by Anna Saucedo that hit the post.
