Portland, Ore. -- The Lewis & Clark Pioneers (3-11-2, 3-7-1) fought hard in an aggressive and foul-heavy game but couldn't score against the Pacific Boxers (3-10-2, 1-9-1) in an 0-2 loss. The Pioneers found an even match against Pacific and went almost shot for shot with them with nine opportunities (four on goal) to the Boxer's ten opportunities (five on goal).
Junior Caroline Hennes led the Pioneers with three shots while Anna Saucedo and Kennie Beighle supported with two each. Freshman Milan Davis tended goal for the Pios, making three saves in the first half. Both teams fought hard on the field with the Boxers racking up 10 fouls to the Pioneers 14. Lewis & Clark also uncharacteristically received three yellow cards, two of which were on the team.
The Boxers started strong, taking six of their ten shots in the first half. Milan Davis made three saves in the first half before the Boxers scored their first goal. The Pioneers had numerous opportunities to make offensive attacks against the Pacific goal but kept losing possession for being offside.

- Caroline Hennes took two shots in the first half and the last shot of the game in the second half
