HILLSBORO, Ore. -- With a total of 90 matches and over 1,000 points in her four-year career at Lewis & Clark, Senior Kortney Meyer has been selected to the All-Northwest Conference First Team, the conference office announced on Monday.
Meyer ends her time at Lewis & Clark with a new career high of 286 kills in one season, placing her second in the NWC in both total kills and kills per set. She set a new season high of 22 kills against Puget Sound on Oct. 19 and reached a new career-high points per set at 4.0, bringing her total point count to 333.5 for the season. Meyer moved into a tie for fifth all-time at Lewis & Clark in total kills with 817 and finishes her career in second all-time for assisted blocks with 185.
This is Meyer's second year as an All-Northwest Conference selection after an honorable mention selection in 2017. Off the court, she is a Psychology major who became a Certified Peer Educator to serve as a student-athlete mentor.
This is the first All-NWC First-Team selection since Alexe Navarro in 2015. Lewis & Clark has had a selection on the All-NWC teams every season since 2003.
